Breakfast Eggs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb smokies sliced, browned, and drained
  • 12 slices white bread, cubed no crust
  • 3/4 lb grated cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 soup can of milk
  • 1 can mushroom pieces

Directions

  1. Day Before – brown sliced smokies
  2. Cube bread and spread in the bottom of 9 x 13 in pan
  3. Top the bread with smokies, and 3/4 lb of shredded cheddar cheese
  4. Combine eggs, 2 1/2 cup milk, and the mustard powder
  5. Pour mixture into pan and let sit in refrigerator overnight
  6. Day Of – Add cream of mushroom soup, and the 1/2 can of milk to pan
  7. Top with mushroom pieces
  8. Bake at 350 degrees and 1 1/4 hours, and let stand for 15 minutes before serving
