Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cup flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 to 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 4 cup peeled & chopped apples
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl with a wooden spoon, batter will be stiff and chunky (Do Not use a Mixer)
  2. Grease & flour a 9×13 inch pan, and pour batter into pan
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center
  4. Ice cake when cooled
  5. Use the Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe for icing
